This Privacy Policy explains how MyClutch collects, uses, stores, discloses, and protects information in connection with the MyClutch web application and related services.
MyClutch is designed to help students track extracurricular activities, volunteer hours, achievements, portfolio records, and college application preparation materials. The information in a MyClutch account is personal to the user and is handled for the purpose of operating and supporting the platform.
2. Information We Collect
We collect account information that users provide when creating or maintaining an account, including name, email address, authentication details, and, if provided through Google Sign-In, a profile photo associated with the Google account.
We collect portfolio and activity information that users choose to enter into the platform, including extracurricular activities, volunteer hours, awards, leadership roles, descriptions, dates, organizations, reflections, and related notes or records.
We may collect technical information necessary to operate the service, including device and browser type, log data, authentication events, approximate region derived from network information, error records, and security-related metadata.
3. How We Use Information
MyClutch uses personal information to create and maintain accounts, authenticate users, provide dashboards, organize portfolio data, generate exports, respond to support requests, process paid features, prevent misuse, maintain security, and improve the reliability and accessibility of the service.
MyClutch does not sell personal information to advertisers or data brokers. MyClutch does not use student portfolio records to target third-party advertising.
5. Storage and Security
User account and portfolio data is stored using secure cloud infrastructure, including Supabase database services. MyClutch uses access controls, authentication controls, row-level security where applicable, and operational safeguards designed to prevent unauthorized access.
No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. MyClutch maintains reasonable safeguards but cannot guarantee absolute security. Users are responsible for protecting their credentials and using secure devices and networks.
6. Google Sign-In
When a user chooses Google Sign-In, MyClutch receives basic account information from Google, such as the user's name, email address, and profile photo if provided. MyClutch uses this information to create, authenticate, and manage the user's account.
MyClutch does not request or access Google Drive, Gmail, Calendar, Contacts, or other Google account content for ordinary account authentication.
7. Payment Processing
MyClutch may use Stripe or another third-party payment processor to process purchases. Payment card information is submitted directly to the payment processor and is subject to that processor's privacy practices and terms. MyClutch does not store full credit card numbers.
8. Cookies and Local Storage
MyClutch may use cookies, browser local storage, session storage, and similar browser technologies for authentication, session continuity, security, application preferences, and user interface configuration. These technologies help the platform remember settings and maintain a usable experience.
MyClutch does not use third-party tracking cookies for behavioral advertising on the legal pages.
9. Accessibility and Interface Features
MyClutch is designed to support accessible use, including keyboard navigation, readable document structure, visible focus indicators, responsive layout, and compatibility with common browser-level assistive technologies.
MyClutch does not track or collect personal health data, disability status, assistive technology identifiers, screen-reader usage, magnification usage, motor-assistance usage, or other assistive technology footprints. Accessibility-related use of the platform is not treated as a health profile or behavioral advertising signal.
Where users configure layout, contrast, font-scaling, density, motion, or similar interface settings, MyClutch may save those configurations natively through local browser storage on the user's device for individual user optimization. These settings are intended to improve readability and usability, are not sold, and are not used to infer medical, health, or disability information.
Accessibility Data Limitation
MYCLUTCH DOES NOT COLLECT PERSONAL HEALTH DATA OR ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGY FOOTPRINTS THROUGH ACCESSIBILITY FEATURES. INTERFACE SETTINGS MAY BE STORED LOCALLY IN THE USER'S BROWSER TO PRESERVE THE USER'S SELECTED LAYOUT, CONTRAST, FONT-SCALING, OR DISPLAY CONFIGURATION.
10. Children's Privacy
MyClutch is intended for users who are at least 13 years old. MyClutch does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If MyClutch learns that it has collected personal information from a child under 13, it will take reasonable steps to delete that information.
Users between 13 and 17 should use MyClutch under the guidance of a parent or guardian. Parents or guardians may contact MyClutch regarding a minor user's account, deletion request, or privacy concern.
11. Access, Correction, and Deletion
Users may access, update, correct, export, or delete much of their information directly through the MyClutch application. Users may also contact MyClutch to request assistance with account deletion or privacy questions.
MyClutch may retain limited information when required for security, legal compliance, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, backup integrity, or legitimate business records, subject to applicable law.
12. Business Transfers
If MyClutch is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or similar transaction, user information may be transferred as part of that transaction. MyClutch will take reasonable steps to ensure that transferred information remains subject to privacy protections consistent with this Policy or will provide notice if the treatment of personal information materially changes.
13. Changes to This Policy
MyClutch may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised Last Updated date. Continued use of MyClutch after the updated policy becomes effective means that the user acknowledges the updated policy.
